New for 2021, We have adapted our highly successful Yurt Dinners for the Summer!

Ride up the mountain in our vintage army truck for an unforgettable backcountry dining experience.  Soak in the cool breeze and breathtaking views with live music, yard games, and hearty and delicious Montana mountain fare.

LOCATION

The Montana Dinner Yurt is located at our secret on-mountain spot at Big Sky Resort. Parking is available at the base of Big Sky in the Mountain Village. Check-in is located upstairs in the Snowcrest Building near the Snowsports School at 6:30pm sharp.  The Snowcrest Building is closest to lifts in the Base area, directly in front of Basecamp.  There are ticket windows, Yeti Dogs, and the rental shop on the first floor of the building.  We are in the back, on the second floor directly on the ski slope.

MENU

Our chef has perfected a delicious three-course meal cooked in our kitchen shack located adjacent to the yurt. The exquisite dinner is served in courses and starts with a fresh salad with  warm bread, followed by our main course consisting of a tender filet mignon with peppercorn sauce (some say it cuts with a spoon!), garlic mashed potatoes, and sautéed veggies (main course served family-style), and finishes with warm Toblerone chocolate fondue with fresh fruit and pound cake for dessert.

We are happy to provide a vegetarian substitute or wild caught Alaskan salmon filet in lieu of the beef tenderloin filet with prior notice.

A kids menu is also available offering chicken tenders and fries, buttered pasta, and a cheeseburger or local wagyu beef burger with fries.

Advance notice for seafood, vegetarian or child plates is required at the time of booking.

Refreshments include hot chocolate, hot apple cider, coffee, and a variety of select teas and sodas.

Although alcohol is not provided or available for purchase, please feel free to bring your own. If you choose to bring beer or wine, it is at your own risk and you must be 21 or older to drink. We have wine openers at the yurt.

WHAT TO BRING

Dress: We recommend layering up-- even on the hottest nights it cools down quick once the sun goes down.

Alcohol: Once again, though we do not provide alcohol for purchase, you may bring your own wine or beer.
